.Your shopping experience at Expressions in Silk Bridal should be fun and exciting. Our team values and appreciates each of you and want to share a few tips to help you plan your visit:
1) Brides may bring 3-4 guests with them and seating can allow for reasonable social distancing. 2) While we love children, we are asking at this time to not bring them with you and no strollers please. 3) Prior to your scheduled appointment, if you or a guest are not feeling well, please reschedule 4) You may want to wear a strapless bra or a support bra that will allow the straps to be tucked down. 5) It is helpful to our dresses if you wear a clear deodorant, if possible. 6) please be patient, we will do our best to keep everyone on schedule.
How do special orders work?
Bridesmaid dresses are ordered as a group once all the bridesmaids have been sized and initial payments made. Bridesmaid and bridal special orders are placed directly with the selected designer on your behalf. Once an order is placed with any designer, we CAN NOT cancel the order for any reason. We are bound by the designer to receive the order that will be made for the bridal party or bride. If a bridesmaid is no longer in the wedding, they will have to pick up the dress and pay any balance before the event date. Bridesmaids can take up to 5 months to arrive unless you select a quick delivery option. Super rushes are on a limited basis at a nominal fee.
Upon receipt, bridesmaid dresses are checked-in and tagged, then the bride and each bridesmaid are called or texted to arrange try-on, pick up or alterations. All special ordered merchandise is required to be tried on prior to pick up. We are not responsible once the merchandise is removed from our premises and has been signed out.
Do you offer Installment Plans?
We offer installment plans (formerly called layaway) on dresses over $250 for bridal gowns and prom dresses. Terms are 50% down with a maximum of 90 days for bridal and 50% down and maximum 60 days for prom. All installment plans follow our all sales final policy.
What is your sales/return policy?
Our policy is all "sales are final". No exchange, refund, cancellation or store credit should be expected after the purchase has been made. We are not responsible for acts of God, pandemics or should a customer gain/loose weight or become pregnant after an order has been placed on their behalf. Sale items are sold "as is".
How will I know my tuxedos have arrived?
Tuxedo rentals arrive the week of your event, once your order has been received and checked-in, we contact the bride and/or groom, then each person directly by email, text and/or phone to notify of its arrival. Any remaining balance is due upon receipt. Tuxedos are to be returned on Sunday by 3:30 p.m. following the event to avoid a $50 per day late fee beginning on Tuesday when we re-open and you are responsible for replacement cost of any item not returned.
Are alterations available? We have partnered with an independent expert formal wear seamstress for alterations through our store for your convenience. Alterations are not included in the cost of your dress and would be paid directly to the independent seamstress. She does not keep your gown on the premises from the day of your first pinning and she will have it for each scheduled fitting thereafter. A verbal quote is provided before she begins any work and if accepted, she moves forward. Any questions regarding fittings should be directed to the seamstress. Expressions in Silk Bridal stylists do not provide quotes on her behalf.
